My 2026 Gaming Setup: The 1440p Command Center Breakdown

A cozy look at the high performance gear I am actually using every day.

Whether I am diving into a high stakes match in Fortnite or getting lost in the atmosphere of a classic RPG like Oblivion, having the right gear makes all the difference for me. I figured it was time for a proper breakdown of my current setup and how everything is actually performing for me lately. I am incredibly satisfied with this setup and honestly I do not feel the need to change or upgrade anything at this moment.

My current Command Center. Just a solid balance of high end performance and a comfortable workspace that actually feels good for me to use.

The Foundation | Electric Standing Desk

The base of everything I do is the Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk. It is 55x24 inches with a rustic brown top and a black steel frame. Having an ergonomic sit/stand option is a total game changer for my long sessions. The desk gives it a distinct look that fits the vibe of my room.

The Rig | High Performance Power

The heart of my setup is built for speed and reliability. Honestly my PC is exactly what I need. I can run any game I have tried so far at max ultra graphics and 1440p resolution. I know some people say that is not the best for competitive play, but I want my clips to look visually incredible for everyone watching.

  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF (Series 2)
  • GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 OC
  • RAM: 32 GB Team T-Force Delta RGB DDR5
  • Storage: 2 TB KLEVV CRAS C910 NVMe SSD

The Controls | My Keyboard and Hall Effect

My keyboard is the LEMOKEY P1 HE. This is a 75% Wireless Custom Mechanical board using Gateron Double Rail Magnetic Switches. It has a 1,000 Hz polling rate and that Hall Effect magic. I love that it features a joystick and rapid trigger while being wireless. Most importantly, this keyboard does not hurt my fingers after long typing sessions like other keyboards do. It has all these internal layers that make it feel great.

Mouse and Surface | SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless + Glass Pad

My mouse and pad combo is easily one of the most unique parts of my desk. My SteelSeries Rival 3 Wireless Gen 2 is great because it has swappable batteries. It never has to be plugged in. I just charge up my AAA batteries and swap them out when needed.

I paired this with a 2mm Ultra Thin Glass Mousepad. My old cloth pads got dirty so easily and they were a pain to keep nice, but with the glass, I can just wipe it clean whenever. The mouse feels like it is floating, making every movement high speed and precise.

Audio | SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5X Wireless

This headset makes everything so easy for me. The headband does not hurt the top of my head, even during long sessions. The mic is so good that my friends cannot tell the difference between my headset mic and a dedicated microphone. Because it is wireless, I can just walk away, go into my kitchen to grab a snack, and still talk to everyone while knowing exactly what is going on in the game.

Everything works together to make my experience of hitting a clip for a YouTube Short or exploring a new world smoother and more immersive. I am just really happy with how it all turned out.
